These animations are running animations (called HASHIRI in Japan), and I've created various running animations.

Walking and running (wave and turning around animations) are called Dessin-wari in Japan, and are animations that require spatial awareness and drawing skills.

You might also become familiar with KOMA UCHI, a term used in the Japanese anime industry. You can express any running animations you want by adjusting the timing and the number of frames between two Genga.

This is a complete set for beginners to create a running animation.
The files are separated into different sections, including video files like Genga, Douga, Final Result, and so on.
You can also get tips, hints, PNG files, a timesheet, and the actual TVPaint file that I created.
